At least one Mayor of the 13 believes your vote this past Nov. 15 did not represent a favourable vote for a study on governance and amalgamation in the Greater Victoria region. Some people have even gone so far as to say you didn't understand what you voted for. Tell them now by signing this petition.
Dear Mayor & Council of my municipality and BC Provincial Government,
My democratic vote on Nov. 15 should count. I fully understood what I voted for. Please start the process for a study about our governance structure and amalgamation in my municipality and Greater Victoria region. I want to be consulted on the terms of reference for this study and I want to engage in the process during and after. When it is complete I expect a binding referendum. Thank you.
