The United States Constitution provides for freedom of speech, as well as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. But, here in Russellville, Arkansas, the students at Russellville High School are only allowed freedom in a very narrow frame of reference when it comes to clothing styles. Preppy is "in" and gothic is clearly "out". We are not asking to be allowed to wear clothing that would be considered offensive as far as questionable language or graphics. But, what is wrong with wearing Tripps, wallet chains and trenchcoats We are asking for your support. Please help us let the school officials know that we have rights too.
