Comments: The screen on my original Galaxy S smartphone was in pristine condition when I sold it after 2 years of use. My Samsung Galaxy S3 has 3 scratches on it after only 5 months of use. I have had a screen protector on it for the whole time except for 1 week.

Comments: Macbook pro has a strong body. it has a full uni body case. It has more mmeroy and processing power than the Macbook air too. Macbook air on the other hand is real light and thin and has no optical drive. Essentially the Macbook air is a netbook that's very light and thin where as the Macbook pro is a full notebook computer. Was this answer helpful?

Comments: Why should we have to pay so much for a device that we're stuck with for 2 years (unless you pay an outragious amount for another device or cancellation fee) that will not hold up to the use that the manufacturer of said device or makers of glass

Comments: I cant understand why this concern has to be taken this far, this is a problem that should have been addressed a long time ago. Why is it that we're supposed to put up with a device that dosent meet the manufacturer's description or the glass manufacturer's decription of how a device should hold up to normal use. We're forced to pay a lot of money and sign a contract thats expensive to get out of for an inferior peice of equiptment. I do understand that a lot of people say these devices are a luxery but the fact is most use these devices for daily bussiness. I too have has my glass crack and spider out while the phone was in my pocket, i have never had any phone ever do this, i've never had a screen crack even after a drop of 5 feet directly onto the face of phone. there is a defect in at least some of these devices and should be taken care of. How will this problem if not addressed help a phone makers reputation in the future? I can see if this was a couple devices this has happened to but do a google search and you will find pages among pages of glass screen faliure, whether this is a manufacturing defect or quality concern at one manufactering plant it should be addressed.
