Thanks for listening |

| 104 | Anonymous | We are a small not-for-profit group who could in no way afford having to pay for web hosting. We are satisfied with the look & flexibility that GPC allows. The limitations that google sites would put on our abilities would not work for us. Please allow GPC to stay. |

| 106 | Anonymous | My site is essential for my students and I'm too old to learn new tricks. Please let a good thing go on. |
| 107 | Anonymous | This service makes it easy to edit pages! Please don't take it away! |
| 108 | Anonymous | if they are moving us they better of reserved us the same urls as we have now. |
| 109 | Steven Colorado | Google pages is where I have my site as a comedian. |
| 110 | George Eggson | |
| 111 | Neeraj Bhalla | Its a relly shock for us that googlepages are going to close its services. I always thought that it will never discontinue its services because its GOOGLE. Its very sad to say that google is now serving very bad services like google sites. just a waste of time for GPC users. |
| 112 | Steve Fields | Google is transitioning all the GPC sites over to Google Sites.
Nothing will change but the layout of the Creator, which I've am told Google is still working 24/7 on to make it more convenient.
Signing this petition is a worthy deed; but alas, it will have no bearing in the closure of GPC, which we all know has limitations, such as FTP, and HTML coding.
Let's give Google a chance, GPC is great for beginners, but for the experts, we don't use it, we upload our ready made pages in the upload section of GPC because GPC does not do what we want it to do! |
| 113 | Miriam | I thank GPC for this free service, but I really do not think that Google Sites can be compared and I hope they continue this free service or give at least 2 years transition time... |
| 114 | Voyagerfan5761 | Unless there will be the ability to host files on Google Sites, and the ability to change the URLs to be the same as they were before, I wish Google Page Creator to stay alive so my sites don't break. Not just GPC sites, either; lots of files in my account are supporting images and XML files for other sites. |
| 115 | GBGFR | Please keep GPC going or, at least, just imbed its functionalities within GS. I use GPC everyday to host files and cut Web Pages, that I can later on access via Internet. Cutting simple pages with GS is not that easy, at least for me (no templates to start from). |
| 116 | Tomi Häsä | Uploading HTML files is an essential way of making my pages look exactly the way I want them look with the help of CSS files (or CSS inside HTML). The way you can customize Google Sites pages is not enough for me. I could go back to Yahoo! GeoCities, but now that I'm used to having no advertisements on my GPC pages, I probably buy my own domain + webhotel service from one of the webhotel services in my country (Finland). One of the cheaper deals I can find of course, as it's a hobby of mine. |
| 117 | al morris | GPC Sucks! Why on Earth would anyone petition Google to keep a Beta product??? |
| 118 | whirlybird20 | Google sites is a step back from google page creator. |
| 119 | Anonymous | I haven't even started my website yet... and like so many others, there are budget constrained to employ professional "webheads". This is so sad. Please reconsider.. |
| 120 | Anonymous | I need de page in spanish |
| 121 | Anonymous | Pls dont do that. I'm quitehappy with page creator. I cant manage to go with sites. The file uploader feature doesnt allow me to upload html files. |
| 122 | eWorlder | Please do make considerations to the thread I posted here-

| 123 | Anonymous | taking away Google Page Creator, That's Evil :(
This is so sad. I got interested in computers thanks to GPC.
Please reconsider. |
| 124 | Anonymous | I am a teacher, I need my googlepages as they are now!!!!!!
---- |
| 125 | chappuis | I understand the idea to have only one product between Site and GPC. But ALL the features available to GPC users must be available to Sites users (AdSense, iframe javascript, css) |
| 126 | Anonymous | Please allow GPC sites remain as working sites. We have put long hours into our work ... OR create a way to keep our work and easily move it over to Google Sites. We just don't want to lose our work. Thank you. |
| 127 | Anonymous | GPC is a way better progrqam than Sites and as a user I know that me and other users will find another service if google abandons GPC |
| 128 | Paul Z. | I depend on google page creator for my clients to easily visit me while at their convenience, to send me email to register for my services and I've spent over 90 hours of works into my website. I Speak proudly of the great things google offers with this service and colleagues are bewildered that such a service exists. I promote the servie because of it's true usefulness. I work for a large company and colleagues are amazed at it's low to no cost. I hope google decides to keep this service running. I hope to continue to use this service if you'll allow it google. |
| 129 | Martin Brady | GPC is a website creation tool in my mind for an individual.
Sites is a Corporate Tool for groups.
For me, it's obvious that removing GPC is folly... it was such fun... in a geeky kind of way.
I'd hoped they'd improve instead of canning it.
Stop the madness. |
| 130 | Anonymous | I am a teacher. I need the features available to GPC users (AdSense, iframe javascript, css). Please reconsider finishing Googlepages...or improve SITES and help with the migration |
| 131 | Anonymous | totally support this petition.
I am beyond ticked at GOOGLE |
| 132 | C Hodges | Plewase don't take my page away. I love GPC and I use it all the time. |
| 133 | christian | i have freinds who have page with googlepages, they might as well stop using gmail, delete their google toolbar and change web servers!!!
Bloody Hell! |
| 134 | Benjamin Wayne Smith | |
| 135 | James Allen | You can't be serious!? I just spent days and days working on the my main home site at googlepages.
Please don't kill my business before it even gets going! I can't even begin to pay for this somewhere else. You will be destroying my dream of a home based business!!!! With my own personal site. |
| 136 | --------------------------- | Plese do not shut down GPC |
| 137 | Erin Keefe | Please don't!!! I love it.
Erin |
| 138 | Renato Campos | |
| 139 | Anonymous | I don't want a wiki, I want a personal webpage, with a plain white background when I need it. In other words, please don't muck up my site by turning it into something else. |
| 140 | italo violo | Please dont close GPC I worked very hard to build it and I cannot to build another one.
http://itaoviolo.googlepages.com |
| 141 | Victoria Carr | PLEASE save Googlepages. Googlesites does not work for me at all. On my blog, I write a little blurb, then put a recipe, and with Googlepages I can have a print recipe button where only the recipe and not my story gets printed. It's really really great, and I don't want to give it up. Check it out http://wicksrecipes.googlepages.com/chickencountrycaptain |
| 142 | Anonymous | Please don't take away GPC! I'm using it for my wedding website for next year and I've worked so hard on it! |
| 143 | Brian Blake | Please DO NOT end Google Page Creator. I worked EXTREMELY hard on my website and it is crucial that I do not lose the flexibility that I currently have! |
| 144 | Duncan McIntyre | |
| 145 | Anonymous | Many spend countless hours trying to get a website up, and Google provided the tool for us "non-professionals" as professionals alike. Please re-think this strategy. It could have devastating affects on thousands of people. |
| 146 | Jodie | I created my husband's business website by uploading the html files on gpc. What will happen to our site if we can no longer upload html? |
| 147 | Paul Burnette | Please do not take away Google Pages. This is one of the best free resources I've found online and is really a very valuable asset for me and countless others (as the petition indicates). I truely hope Google reconsiders - This is a great free tool that I had recommended to everyone on my email list.
Regards,
Paul Burnette

| 148 | Anonymous | I depend heavily on GPC, to close down would be a travesty, not only to me, but thousands of others who rely on it |
| 149 | David Melik | Please keep googlepages.com or at least the features it has available, which are not much. Googlesites is even worse. |
| 150 | Kevin | Googlepages is one of the best free web host out there. I tried Google sites and there is no option to upload html files. I really hope Google change its mind on this one. |
