Name: David Priestley on Jan 23, 2007Comments: About time too, fed up of hearing about a select few who want the whole area to suffer and stand in the way of progress. If the rest of the country listened to people like that, it would still take 5 hours to drive to glasgow and over a week to sail to America!Flag

Name: Lynn Dawson on Jan 23, 2007Comments: I think that this Peripheral route is a much needed necessity for Aberdeen. I am a surveyor and meet many companies with property requirements and can understand when companies have issues with the location of properties. We are the oil capital of Europe however our roads are an embarrassment to any visitors to Aberdeen.Flag

Name: NEIL BROWN on Jan 24, 2007Comments: I fully agree with the building of the AWPR including the dualed Fastlink to Stonehaven ASAP. This will help to slove some traffic problems and increase saftey measures on the A92 and B979 with a reducton in traffic during the rush hour.Flag

Name: Allan Smith on Jan 24, 2007Comments: As a Civil Engineer I fully endorse the building of the WPR around Aberdeen. The fast link to Stonehaven will be the making of the route and allow traffic for the north and west of Aberdeen to procede safely and quickly to their destination. The WPR may well prove to be the fastest route from Altens to Dyce and Bridge of Don.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 24, 2007Comments: I am a great supporter of conservation, but in this case a small minority of people with personal property interests are canvassing conservation organisations to fight their cause (erroneously). The WPR will increase efficiency and HELP wildlife. There are no woodlands on the route which are not also found nearby. Red squirrels etc. will continue elsewhere and the improved infrastructure of Aberdeen will make life better for all.Flag
