Name: Brett Bolting on Mar 18, 2003State: TXCountry: USComments: This ie the American Pledge to our the American Flag.. This is a way of life in our country, if you live in our country and it offends you to pledge your allegiance to our country and its flag...then leave. The "Pledge" needs to stay in our schools and "Under God" needs to stay in the pledge.!Flag

Name: Jerry Evans on Mar 18, 2003State: ALCountry: USComments: As a U.S. military member, and a parent, I am raising my son up to be a christian. We need to do this, or at least raise our children up with some type of moral background. Saying the Pledge of Allegiance in my school was not mandatory, but you did have to stand up for it. If someone is too lazy to just stand up and not say something, then they need to stop going to school altogether. I think they should bring back school prayer.Flag

Name: Libby Kenny on Mar 26, 2003State: PACountry: USComments: By removing God from the pledge, the courts are taking away the rights of the majority who do believe in God. They need to stop pandering to the minority. Just don't participate if you don't beleive in God, but don't take my right away to profess my faith!Flag

Name: Jenaee Thomas on Apr 4, 2003State: ILCountry: USComments: GOD is getting tired of this crap. If "GOD" ever erased us from everything, we would be in misery and at the hands of the enemy. So why are people so quick to get rid of HIM After a tragedy, they call on GOD. After a catastrophe, they call on GOD.....what about when they walk down the street Or mail a letter...or buy food at McDonald's No GOD then, right HE'S getting tired.....very tired. And HIS SON is returning soon.....for me, you and the ACLU.Flag

Name: Orland DeFrates on Apr 5, 2003State: TXCountry: USComments: Affirmation by repeating the pledge (with "under God") is a way of socializing America. Even if you don't believe in God, the IDEA of God serves to keep a person humble. And that is a good thing. Most liberals today are self-absorbed and are incapable of humility.Flag
