With the reelection of President Obama, he and the United Nations will continue to push for America's participation in the UN Arms Trade Treaty.
If allowed to be ratified this treaty would force the US to enact a National Registry for all privately owned firearms, force manufacturers to implement costly microstamping parts, and will so restrict the importation and exportation of firearms in America that it will all but make firearms cost prohibitive to anyone but the rich and the government.
Gun Owners of America is getting the word out about this dangerous and radical treaty as well as ensuring that our elected officials understand the Constitutional ramifications of it.

We, the undersigned, call on the elected officials of the US government to reject the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
The loss of American sovereignty over how it handles its own internal affairs and the rights of its citizens is anathema to the US Consititution and as such cannot be allowed.
We ask all lawmakers to definitively refute and reject the treaty in its entirety.
We are simply asking for you to uphold the Constitution you have sworn to defend.
