| 11303 | Katya T. | Go Train was delayed way too many times during February that created much inconvenience, considering I bought a monthly pass and expected a good service. Obviously they do not take enough care to make sure their trains come on time. |

| 11307 | Sylvie Devereaux | Go Transit really has to start listening to their client; us as commuters. It is imperitive that something gives in regards to the lateness of the trains and how they communicate this information and in an acceptable timeframe.
I take the 8:00 Guildwood Go Train in the morning and more than 85% of the time, this train is late. As well, I take the 5:33 pm Go Train from Union station to go back to Guildwood and again, more than 755 of the time, it is late.
What about the appointments that we have and have missed due to the lateness or cancellation. What about picking up our kids from Daycare? We pay the late pick up fee, not the Go Transit; perhaps we should start sending our late fees directly to the Executives for them to pay.
As you can see, I am absolutely very unhappy about the service provided.
Thanks,
Sylvie |

| 11309 | Mike Sullivan | Please contact me. GO Transit infrastructure improvements are being held up by demands that GO build the infrastructure for the private 'Air Rail Link' between Pearson and Union. Public money is allotted to GO to build infrastructure for the link, and the link itself is subject of an environmental assessment which the province has 'sat on' since October of 2006.

| 11310 | ed sollbak | How can government seriously expect people to give up cars with slow unreliable and infrequent go train service. Its pathetic |

| 11312 | Rosemary Simpson | Our son goes to school and lives in Oakville. Last Sept. he and a group of friends took the Go train to Toronto to see a concert. When they went to take the last Go train home, they were told that they were short staffed and were not running it. No apologies or suggestions how to get home. Also, no refund offer. These young men already had their tickets purchased. They had to pool their money together and take a cab all the way back to Oavkville. Thank God they had enough money. We were infuriated that these young men were put in such a dangerous situation so late at night. I am still furious when I think of it. |

| 11318 | Bruce Clendening | Service from Georgetown is so bad that numbers of people on the trains have been declining. |
| 11319 | Susan Morriss | Poor service on the Lakeshore East line. It is consistentlly late 10 minutes or more. Also too few parking spaces at Rouge Hill Station, 100-200 more is needed for weekday trains. If you dont' get a parking space by 7:30am, you arent likely to get one at all!
Terrible, terrible. And GO transit is hiking the fares? To pay for those fancy new locomotives? Which BTW I have not seen yet! Infuriating! |
| 11320 | Jenna Booth | terrible service almost daily, they charge ridiculous prices, I can't remember the last time I was able to get seat in the morning out of oakville.....yet they want us to take public transportation to help the environment?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? |
| 11321 | Ryan Young | I have been a monthly pass holder for GO transit for the past 5 years. Every year the service gets worse. This year has easily been the worst yet. GO frequently delays and cancels trains with no regard for the people it leaves stranded. Worse is that stations west of Oakville (on the Lakeshore line) often have scheduled trains held at Oakville to try and "catch up", leaving people to the west waiting another hour for the next train. I'm sure this is some type of fraud that GO does to manipulate its stats to give the appearance that more trains are on schedule than actually are. |
| 11322 | David Connell | Go Transit's latest excuse that winter weather is the source of delays is not good enough. The on-time performance of rush-hour trains was terrible in July and August, at least half of the trips I took in that period being late. That's one of two trips a day; late service every single day. Now in the winter, nearly every train is delayed, whether there is new snowfall or not. Passenger rail has been around for roughly 200 years, and winter weather much longer than that; how much more time does GO Transit need to sort its business? |
| 11323 | William Skuta | I take GO transit to and from Toronto. I find their service is over crowded. I also think at this time any hike in fares would be too much. |
| 11324 | Robert McKenzie-Kerr | I agree with the position of a rebate to GO Train riders when the service is late or the train is canceled.
I note VIA rail and the airlines offer rebates when a flight or train is canceled. Why not GO? |
| 11325 | Anna Ramlakhan | Thank you for taking the time to organize this on behalf of all frustrated passengers! |

| 11328 | Søren Beyer | I've been a monthly pass GO rider for nearly 20 years. The price keeps going up while the service continues to deteriorate! Nice business model Ontario !! |
| 11329 | Balraj Bhathal | |
| 11330 | virginia ramnaraine | Please stop increasing the fares and avoid so much delays. |
| 11331 | Mary Savosardaro | I wonder how many times Go transit employee's call in sick. Funny they never announce that the trains are late due to staff calling in sick. |
| 11332 | Sandra Nottegar | I go against the rush hour traffic, and announcement for this direction are almost non-existant. Cancelled trains and express trains can add an extra hour to hour-and-half to my journey home. Taking trains in Europe have a most consistent time table and makes public transit the preferred method of travel. |
| 11333 | Maggie | Eastbound trains always take priority over westbound trains no matter what time of day. This in turn leaves westbound passengers stranded and late for appointments/meetings/classes. Westbound passengers should not be forced to pay more money for less service. |
| 11334 | Katie Alatsas | I commute to and from McMaster University on a daily basis. The student monthly pass saves me money, but it's usually a mere $5 a month! Now they want to raise prices, when the westbound service is already seriously lacking. Eastbound passengers at least have several morning and evening trains to get them where they need to be, while the westbound passengers are left with ONE train an hour, which is late 3-4 days a week. |

| 11336 | Valerie Williams | Everyone has pretty much said what I wanted to say about poor performance of GO service. Now it's up to every employee of GO, all GO management, and every vendor or contractor hired for GO projects to truly listen and make it their whole-hearted mission to fix this rail system as quickly as possible and ON BUDGET. Take pride in your work despite your current obstacles - this is your chance to make a difference. Maybe someday GO will be so good, other transit systems will come asking you how you do it... |
| 11337 | Godwine Lee | Hopefully I am not too late to be signing this, and I hope Patricia get to read this.
I just learn of the new of GO rejecting this petition, blaming a slew of problems relating to weather and such. I think what we need to do is to setup a small group and extract statistic from transit system from developed country and show GO how other countris are performing. GO transit's excuse only apply to underpriveledge countries or developing countries, whiel most (ALL) developed country has elaborate and reliable transit system. An example will be the London Transit system as well as the Japan Rail system |
| 11338 | Linda Schindler | GO needs to get their act together! |
| 11339 | Brett Taylor | The Go Train is always late, how come they can send a man to the moon, however they can't get a train across a track on time |
| 11340 | Mindy Wiltshire-Gibson | I have just started using the Go Train and am quite surprised at the poor service. My train was an hour late the other day because the "doors would not open." It sounds as if this has happened before because of cold weather. Surely, Go's technical staff should have come up with a solution to this serious problem. The trains do not appear to be constructed for a cold climate. (???) The walls are not insulated which must be a factor in the doors not opening and a huge amount of energy is being put into heating the cars.
I'm thinking of Going (commuting) a different way. If Go were to have a better more reliable system, have more trains or at least have the train and buses come to the same station, I would definitely keep using it. |

| 11344 | rowena torangeau | we are sick and tired of all the 30 minutes delays almost everyday. My 7:58 am train is almost always delay or even canceled. This is not acceptable. If we are doing our job dissame way as Go employees i will be fired right away how come Go transit can get away on all this delays and cancellations. |

| 11346 | Silina Khan | There is always delays, which is of great inconvenience to the riders, therfore they should be
compensated. Thamks. |
| 11347 | Anonymous | The Go needs to be better managed with more focus on making the train schedules and less on PR and committees for customer service!
Do what you need to get more seats for paying customers. |
