| 11203 | Anonymous | I board at Unionville station each morning. Whenever my train is late, the station attendant does not notify or make announcements until the train is VERY late. If the train is late 15 minutes, the attendant will announce, at 14 minutes past the arrival time, that our train is arriving 15 minutes late. By then, I already see the training coming, so what is the point of the announcement? This is very poor communication. I expect to know approximately how long the wait will be asap, so that I can use my discretion by waiting in the car or a shelter, instead of freezing my butt off in the line up while the attendants actually know the train is not arriving anytime soon yet they don't notify us. |

| 11210 | Michael Booth | I think GO should be required to issue public on-time statistics similar to some other train operators and airlines , for example. |
| 11211 | JENNY RINNEARD | i have been riding the go train for 13 years only due
to the fact that is the only way for me to get downtown toronto. Throughout the years there have been numerous times that Go transit has basically said due to circumstances beyond our control you have to find your own way to our from work. Terrific now I am either stranded downtown
or stranded somewhere where I am not exactly sure where I am or how to get home.
I pay approx 200.00 per month for service that you need to hold your breath and pray that you get home
The most stressful part of the day is the commute
I have to laugh at the signs that say avoid the stress
take go transit and have a relaxing ride home. |
| 11212 | Anonymous | Fustrated!!! This service is so unreliable!!! Lakeshore East is full of apologies. Always late. Why can I not get to work on time??
Please fix this problem |

| 11214 | Aaron Mohamed | I am sick of late arrivals and paying more for a service that is decreasing in quality! Why should we pay more now for trains that arrive consistently late. It is sad that Go transit has sunk to the depths of service quality occupied by the likes of the TTC! |

| 11217 | Kelly Hearnden | I commend Ms. Eales on her efforts which we all knew would be fruitless. Nevertheless, her voice was heard. I admire her for taking a stand. GO Transit customer service has been on the decline for some time. As paying customers, we don't expect anything more than that which GO promises to provide. Perhaps their policy should include a disclaimer which reads: As a paying passenger you may risk any or all of the following without prior notice: you may/will be kept in the dark when there are delays during your commute; You may be asked to get off the train and find your own transportation at any time without explanation from GO employees and ; your train may be cancelled without notice, explanation or replacement; you will definitely be asked to find another mode of transportation without explanation;
The list goes on. Many commuters now see commuting on GO Transit a necessary evil rather than a convenience. |

| 11220 | Anonymous | In april 2007 I began to take the go train on a regular m-f. I have been late many times due to GO train.
That affects my status at work, you wouldnt want your employer to think that you are making up the story when it happens too many times. when i try to be on time and I can't control what's going on with transportation it makes me very frustrated.
Taking the go train actually encourages me to find a job closer to home b/c they are simply not reliable anymore. And i took the train to school everyday for 3 years and have less problems.
After bombardier takes over the go train service will it be the same?
Are they going to make it better or worst? |

| 11223 | Olga Pershin | GO service is terrible compare to Japan, Germany, France, Russia...Maybe they should send their people overseas to learn how to run trains on-time? They always have problems regardless of the time of the year - rain, wind, snow, couds, sun..it's like a joke! No information what-so-ever when passengers are stranded on the platform. GO system is a joke and very bad! |

| 11229 | Vivienne Heath | Since 1996, my husband and I have commuted from Ajax to Union Station. The trains are often 10 to 15 minutes late with standing room only. As commuters we need rapid updated information and more reliable services. |
| 11230 | Norm Gagne | I would like to add PARKING onto this petition. Although, GO promotes free parking in order to entice commuters to take the GO, many stations run out of parking spaces way to early in the morning leaving many to park illegally. I have been taking the Erindale station Go for 10 years. In the past couple of years parking spaces have been running out earlier and earlier. It has reached the point whereby the lot is full by 7:20 am causing me to park illegally, incurring a number of parking tickets. Why is it the number of riders continues to increase along with fare hikes but nothing is done to increase parking. Soon it will not be cost efficient to take the GO. |

| 11233 | Diana Young | I take the Georgetown line and have been using GO transit for 23 years. I have a friend who was a conductor on the GO transit (retired now) and he says lots of the delays are due to the lack of orders provided to the engineers by the powers that be..... |
| 11234 | Anonymous | I was once stuck 3 hours in Milton train. We had to be connected to the train in front of us because it was no longer working. A 3rd train had to be connected to the first 2 trains to make sure the first train could make it on the Milton hill. It was absurb. I felt so sorry for the parents who were stuck with their young toddlers. |

| 11237 | patty petridis | Although I am grateful for the ability to use the service, and without it I would not be able to work and live where i do. having said that, it has become a difficult pill to swallow for my constant tardiness as a result. |

| 11241 | John Easlick | I have traveled much to Europe and Asia on businesss trips. Many times I have traveled by rail. I have used GO transit many times, and I have to admit that the service is no where in the same league as across the Atlantic. I have my own personnel reasons as to why this has evolved this way. I think it is a shame that Canada can not compete with others when it comes to rail service. I guess this is what happens when there is very little competition for service. |

| 11243 | Anonymous | I dont appreciate paying for a service that i dont get, its as simple as that. After one month of GO i switched to the TTC (thankfully it works out) and i couldnt be happier.
If they want my business, they need to show me that they are worth it |
| 11244 | Anonymous | My GO train (Stouffville) is consistently late arriving to Union Station in the morning. I believe that part of the cause is overcrowding as there are consistently 25+ people standing in my car every day, and passengers slow down to try to get into the doors. Every day I struggle to get onto the train and am forced to stand on the second floor as all the aisles, stairwells, and door areas are full of standing people. Please increase the capacity of the trains, or run an extra train on this line between during rush hour, if possible. |
| 11245 | Anonymous | In the month of February I believe that every train I took travelling eastbound from Clarkson station was late. It is at the point now that I arrive at the GO station, and board the first train going my way becasue I don't know when another will arrive. Service has been atrocious, however, if the communication was more effective, this may alleviate some frustration!
You're statistics may show that services has improved, however I love to see the statistics for Lakeshore line specifically. |

| 11249 | Robin Trott | It is disheartening to anyone trying to adhere to any type of regular schedule -- like to meet daycare time obligations, etc -- to try and depend on GO. It costs untold amounts of money in lost production. I think GO needs to start thinking about the broader affects of their lask of consistency in service. |
