| 11155 | Kevin David | I would love to take GO, but it was so unreliable last summer that I have all but abandoned it. If you could make it more reliable (like European train service reliable) I would come back to it. |
| 11156 | Joe Morris | Please fix this. There's no reason for it. |
| 11157 | Carol Yuen | Georgetown line has been plagued with problems lately and I think that we deserve a refund and a better service |
| 11158 | Anonymous | Give the service in which the customer pays for. If there was some competiition with GO by another privately owned company, GO Transit would go bankrupt. |

| 11160 | Levina Kahumba | Yes, they should pay for all the delays they cause to us. We need a rebate! |
| 11161 | Arlene Hinds | I am on the Georgetown line, there have been numerous times where I had to get back in my car and drive into the city due to delays. GO Transit has been around for 40 years and for 40 years they have had the same issues. In the real business world, if a company or employee made similar consistent errors and omissions they would be FIRED!!! How is that for over 40 years “they” GO Transit can't get there act together, but are consistent in increasing fees. So, basically as a consumer we GIVE YOU MONEY FOR POOR SERVICE.... OH I GET IT, shame on US! VIA, is beginning to look a lot better! |
| 11162 | Scott Phillips | The fact that they are consistently late would not be so bad if they communicated a status. Standing frozen on a platform with no idea if a train is coming is no way to treat people.
In light of global emissions, all public transit should be free. |

| 11165 | Shujat Omer | How can we be expected to take pressure off the roads and the environment if there is no additional support given to GO to improve service? |
| 11166 | Anonymous | GO train sucks. It's funny how the GO bus is faster then the GO train on the Richmond Hill Line. |
| 11167 | Dwayne Wright | Please, have drivers of the GO busses well trained in using the lift for persons with disabilities. Having three drivers and a transit supervisor attempt to figure the device out at Bramalea's GO bus terminal added a 22 minute delay on what would normally be a 25 minute trip. |
| 11168 | Anonymous | Just to back up the case about untimely email notifications, the 6:54 train in Aurora was late today, in fact it was so late that when it came it didn't stop, it was an express to Union so the next train picked us up. Total time wasted at the train station today was about an hour. For a 6:54 train, the E-News alert arrived on my blackberry at 7:16....22 minutes after the train was supposed to be in! Thanks GO Transit...I know you're trying but trying doesn't help...results do. As trump would say...GO Transit...you're fired! |

| 11171 | Joe | It all comes down to the monopoly that GO has on commuting to Toronto. Those of us living outside of Toronto have 2 choices-- drive and pay through the nose for gas and servicing of our cars due to pot hole riddled roads, wear and tear. OR we can gamble on the GO. In addition to all of the other comments two things also come to mind... the sarcasm of the announcers when there is a delay which only fuels the fire against GO and the attitude filled cocky cop-wannabe GO train coppers. Both of these people need to learn a little something about customer service... but oh right... when there is a monopoly you can treat your customers like crap and suffer zero ridership consequences. |
| 11172 | Anonymous | You dont 'go' anywhere with GO, rather your stuck! |
| 11173 | Katie Hudson | I understand that nothing in this world is perfect but when it is everyday that my train is late either in the morning or at night, it becomes very frustrating. I dont mind paying for my fare but what am I exactly paying for? Go Transit needs to realize we live in Canada and we have snow and it gets cold so when having frozen signals and all that stuff shouldnt be any suprise and should be prepared to go on days of snow storms and so forth. Just give us what we pay for! |

| 11176 | Dylan Pillay | I have been a GO TRANSIT commuter for the past 17 years and the service in the last year has been worst than at any time in the past. Although not reflected in GO TRANSIT'S statistics, in the last 6 month's in a 10 ride weekon the Milton line, the train's have been late on average 3 times per week which is totally unacceptable regardless of the reason. We are encouraged not to drive to work and to be environmentally conscious but how do we do this when the public transit option is so unreliable. I do not feel strongly about refunds but do believe we should get the service we are paying for. I strongly believe that the service should be reliable and punctual and commuters should not have to stand for 30 minutes considering the fare they are being asked to pay. I applaud Particia for her efforts on our behalf. |

| 11178 | Anonymous | Service levels are unacceptable on the Lakeshore line. I expect at least two late trains a week now and that's terrible. |

| 11180 | Sean Hefkey | I've taken the GO train from Oakville to Toronto for 8 years now. Over that time, service has continued to decline. Trains are less predictable, more crowded and parking contnues to become worse. I'm a supporter of public transit however there needs to be accountability to the riders and taxpayers who pay for the service. |
| 11181 | Anonymous | I think this petition is a great idea. How long can this inconvenience go on? I pay over $14/day (soon to be more as of saturday). The least GO transit can do is ensure that we get to work on time in the morning, and get home in the evening without drawn out delays due to "signal failures". How many times have we all heard an announcement over the intercom: "now we'll be stopped for a few minutes here ... " and half an hour later the train still hasn't moved? Let's put an end to this. GO transit? SLOW transit! How can a company provide absolutely no customer service and justify the increase of fairs? |

| 11183 | Anonymous | It seems that some of the problems stem from not enough parking - everyone has to get to the GO Station so early to get a parking spot that the earlier trains are packed and the 8:00am trains are half full. Add more parking and GO could spread out the crowds. Delays are frequent and extremely frustrating. |
| 11184 | Josh Reid | Our train was 45 mins. late. First call noted 10 mins, next call 20 mins, last call was 30 mins. Each time they noted engine troubles. If Go Transit suspects long delays, why not warn riders immediately so we can make plans for alternative transportation? |

| 11191 | Anonymous | Well, you lost.
I warned you and told you there is nothing this petition will do.
Why the Hell did you ask for a 50% rebate, when a fare price freeze for 10 years would have been much more feasible.
Capitalisms' a bitch ain't it? |

| 11195 | Anonymous | The only thing I can consistently rely on is that I should expect delays. I find it completely unacceptable (and I have only been taking the GO for the past 10 months) I feel for those who have used the service for years and had to see it go downhill. |
| 11196 | Tracy | GO seriously needs to do something about overcrowding on trains and platforms, paying 180$ a month only to stand or sit on the stairs makes people very unhappy, not to mention being crammed shoulder to shoulder with miserable people. Making their service efficient by departing and arriving on time would be nice too, unfortunately being late to work is unacceptable. |

| 11198 | Terence Whalen | As a long-time GO commuter (17 yrs. +), I can't help but notice the marked deterioration in service and reliability of the GO system, especially over the past 3 to 5 years. The GTA can and must have a better system, or risk a serious future economic impact, as well as the loss of many of its patrons to commuting by private vehicles - not a positive outcome for anyone! Improvements on the Georgetown line are particularly necessary, as it seems to be subject to a disproportionate amount of woe and neglect. |

| 11200 | Jessica Bryant | I used to take the GO from Georgetown. Because its lack of trains that go to Georgetown (the last train leaves at 5:45p. I work until 5p. and sometimes the TTC is also slow I miss my train), and the MANY times it was late, gave passengers 5 minutes to board, broke down for 2 hours ON THE TRACK, kicked everyone off at Brampton, and told them to find their own way home, and many other inconveniences, I now drive. Its much faster. Sure its nice to read for the commute, and sure its better for the environment, but how many problems can there be (I took it from June to November) in 6 months? I give up, and REFUSE to pay GO for their inability to service their passengers. |
