| 51 | Natalie | I commute using GO every weekday, and the train is cancelled or late on a regular basis. This is not an inexpensive service, and the quality is consistently poor. I have emailed my complaints and never received a response. I support the measures in this petition wholeheartedly. |

| 63 | Anonymous | I think fare prices are ridiculous, especially student fare prices. When purchase a monthly pass you are not allowed to go on all lines, I think, in all fairness, any line can be taken. |

| 67 | Robert Marshall | I have been travelling from Oakville to Toronto Union since 1989. In the last 2 years, I have seen a marked deterioration of the service level, with almost no regard for the paying passengers from Go Transit management. Yet, in spite of this deterioration in service, Go recently announced a fare increase. The arrogance and disregard is appalling. If my business treated our customers in this manner, we would be out of business, but I keep forgetting that this is a government agency, so why should they care? I certainly think that CN should bear some of the responsibility, as they operate the trains for GO. Since the CN contract expires in June, and Bombardier will then operate the trains, we will have to wait and see if there is any improvement. In the meantime, I expect the bad service to contiunue. |

| 72 | Jennifer Walczyk | Parking at several stations is also a huge issue... I have found that I am more frustrated with GO lately than ever and I have started to avoid using GO at all costs... High prices for no parking and late trains? Not something I want! |

| 81 | Diane Moore | While weather conditions as of the last 2 weeks have been a challenge, the primary cause of my delays on the Lakeshore line (travelling from Pickering or Ajax), have been due to labour problems with CN crews not showing up in Oshawa. The GTA is a major centre and such nonsense is totally unacceptable, especially since this has been an ongoing problem for the last couple of years! The number of times I have been late for work over this time period is incredible. GO Transit should start offering rebates to people, NOT raising fares once again. I read in the papaer last week that the head of GO Transit, upon announcing this latest round of increases said, "well, I think people understand". How out of touch with reality can one be? Here is my message to all levels of Government and GO Transit: Toronto (GTA), world class city (ha!) with a third world transit system.

| 85 | Ewa Hoffmann | I commute everyday from Oakville to Toronto. My train is always overcrowded, no seats available and most of the time is late. Even when I take earlier train I am late for work. Sometimes the trains are cancelled and double amount of people ride the train. I am squeezed like sardine in a tin. I do feel that the fares are pretty high for the service I receive. We needo more trains, more cars per train and it would be great if there were on time. |
| 86 | Richard Janeczko | the service is reminiscent of British Railways in trhe early 70's..about as bad as you can get in a modern urban environment......when I went to complain about being held on the train at Union Station last week there wer about 20 other people there. Your customer service representatives called security who descended with at least 8.....yes thats correct 8!!!!!!! officers who immediately started to intimidate the passengers.......who is responsible for this kiind of strong arm tactics, this is Canada in the 21 st century. |

| 89 | Anonymous | I do support this petition 100%. The quality of the GO service is just awful.
Every week I have to deal with cancelled trains, delayed trains, overcrowded trains and lack of parking. Beside being late at work (almost daily in the last week
or so) I also have to take time off to fight the parking tickets that my son I gets as an "incentive" for using the GO service from the Bronte station after the morning
rush hours, when there is NO parking available.
We, the commuters, are actually penalized for using this service. GO Transit is not accountable for this mess but we are expected to sponsor it
by paying the full fare, sometimes a month in advance if we buy monthly passes.
On top of this Go Transit just announced another fare increase coming in March - this is just outrageous giving the service they provide ! |
| 90 | Alexander Kluev | It came to ridicules level: To be at work on time these days I have to get up at least 30 minutes earlier than I used to and get a train from Bronte to Oakville. I switch there to a train I can have a sit in because I can't stand in a train for half an hour due a medical condition and my train at Bronte is usually packed due to earlier cancellations or delays. I can't drive to Oakville too because I can't get a parking lot there, and it's all for the same price as a year ago when I commuted normally! Indeed, if GO can't keep up quality of its services it should charge less. |

| 93 | Wendy Chuang | What frustrats me the most is that I can't even be 1 minute late at my stop or else I would miss my train, and yet it is ALWAYS late to the final destination. This happens all the time regardless of the weather condition! |
| 94 | Cheryl Bristow | |
| 95 | John Lukezic | Morning and evenning rush hour trains this week have been late and over crowded. Given over 100 years of rail technology in Canada, there is no excuse for delays due to moderate winter conditions. Also, give the recent "mechanical" problems, why are the new locomotives parked at the yard west of Mimico station on the Lakeshore West line not pressed into use? |
| 96 | Jennifer | I have been riding the trains now for the past 10 yrs. I feel like every year the train service is getting worse. Now they want to raise the ticket prices again. I don't see why as there has been NO train improvments at all. I've been late for work many times and these past 2 weeks have been the worse. With all the people that take the GO train you would think they would do something to make it better. |

| 100 | Ajay Sura | I understand that fares are going to go up. I don't see how this can be justified, as the service level of GO has been declining. The service should match the raise in price. I have been a long time commuter on the GO and have not noticed any improvements. As well, the escalator in one of the exits seems to be taking an overly-long time to get fixed. It has been the cause of much crowding and saftey concerns. Why is it taking more than a year to get fixed?! |
