    Comments: I could not believe it when I heard it. I just had my son there in February and that was when the nurses told me it was closing. I cant imagine if they hadnt been there. Do they want botched home deliveries on their hands??? How many dead babies will there be before they realize that Niagara Falls has a big enough population and enough tourists to warrant a full hospital??? St. Catharines is terrible, no privacy at all and its too far away from us to be useful in an emergency. At GNGH I had my own room with a cot for my husband. Closing the ward is a terrible idea and hopefully these petitions and the census will show the government or whoever needs to know that there are plenty of people here in the city that need a full hospital. we pay taxes here in the Falls so we can have these services, do we not??????
