In no way is this petition calling for a decrease/increase in text/materials, faculty, or any other technicality of GLS or LS. This is strictly a list of grievances hastily drawn to engage student participation and raise awareness among the Administration that students are here, passionate about their education, and attempting to work a compromise out. PLEASE EDIT, this is supposed to be for anyone concerned and every contribution is vital to the cause.2. We are actively participating and demanding TRANSPARENCY. The fact that this faculty assembly was not known to us with motives unknown to us AND, from what I know, 3 plans are already designed. The discussion/vote will solidify the curriculum, but how can we let that be if we don't even know these plans? We are simply letting ourselves to be seen.3. These are by no means offensive or a call to action. Like it directly states, these are a list of GRIEVANCES that we are asking for serious consideration. We are not statistics, herds of sheep, or bundles of money ready to be handed over for the mass expansion of NYU.Do not let yourself be caught up and STUCK in this major. We are not a source of revenue for...
