Glenn Davis as commentator for ESPN during 2010 World Cup
I am sending you this letter requesting you to balance out your coverage with good American announcers with the British announcers (Andy Gray and Martin Tyler) you hired for the South African World Cup in 2010. As a sports leader and the largest cable sports network in the United States it would make sense that ESPN would want to have the best coverage of the event possible. I think Gray and Tyler are good choices but for the American viewer they would like to see a balance of "competent" and "passionate" American announcers also. The American fans deserve intelligent announcers who are highly regarded in their field. We believe Glenn Davis is one of those announcers that could do a great job for ESPN in 2010. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the sport of soccer and can be help some new American fans make the connection to soccer. Thank you for your time and consideration concerning this matter Sincerely, Passionate American soccer fan
