Comments: Gays have the same amount of brain matter to work with just as straight people are. We are not child molesters....we are caring people who can make a difference in a childs life. People who are uneducated are able to pop out babies right and left with no knowledge of what they really need to do to raise a child properly. Gay couples, when they choose to give a child a home, a permanent and loving home, are making a conscious decision that is far from willy-nilly and has been well thought out as to how the finances are and what parenting skills they have to offer. far better than a one night stand that results in many of the unwanted babies that end up being put up for adoption. If a child is being brought up seeing parents who are proud of their relationship, and can show the example of love as a couple, then the child will have better role models. It is unfair to say that it is OK for Gays to be foster parents, but not OK enough to be permanent parents to these children. As a Gay foster parent wanting to become the childs parent, it has to be gut wrenching to know that as much as you may love the child, and want to care for them, they (the child) can be taken away at any moment to be given to some straight couple. The child has more than likely already bonded with the Gay parents and has no judgement about what the sexual preference is.

Comments: Homosexuals and Lesbians are no different than anyone else. They can be just as loving and caring as the next heterosexual that comes along. It is sad that such ignorance still exists in this country.

Comments: I find that states that don't let homosexuals adopt very discriminatory. There is no reason at all why homosexuals should not be able to adopt children. They are just as capable if not more as a straight couple, they are just as loving as well. There is no reason why homosexuals should be left out of the joys of raising a child. I hope that we learn soon that just we should not tell someone they can not adopt a child, just because the couple is homosexual.
