We will lose our standing in the world without a populace that is well-educated and well-informed about the trends of the future. Today, we are not doing what we need to do, and private schools will never fill the huge need, nor should they, of educating the entire population of children. Public education is an important aspect of a great democracy - we should never be willing to give that up, furthermore, we should be willing to strengthen and enhance our public education, and support it with our tax dollars. |

To date the citizenry of Utah have been averse to such direct action. |
