For the men and women convicted of felony crimes they often fall back into the same pattern that put them in the position that they are in. As such they should be punished and placed in the same catagory that all felons  are in now. However what about those caught up in the stereotype that all felons are a hopeless cause, only to have made one ignorant mistake at one point in there life? What about those who were just caught up in a bad situation? If a felon has spent ten years or more they should have the opportunity to have a fresh start, if the crimes are non-violent and havent committed any other offenses of a criminal nature, without the descrimination being attached to their past.
