With SNL Boasting such talent as Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis and Seth Meyers, it is one of the funniest shows in America, and is also bringing in bigger star host than ever. Yet the Uk is being denied this show. Every few years a British channel buys it up, just to air it in the early hours of the morning, even cutting the show down, and airing it on channels that barely receive viewers during the day. Over the years British channels have even made their own "Saturday Night Live", only to fail. In a year where the two biggest stars, Wiig and Sudeikis, have been in two of the biggest comodies of the year, "Horrible Bosses" and "Bridesmaids", viewership in the UK would be nothing to worry about. Bringing this show to a channel such as Channel 4, BBC 3 or even the only comedy channel in the Uk, Comedy Central Uk, and airing it at a reasonable time, would give this show it's biggest chance of ever succeeding in Britain. I know there a lot of fans like me in the UK, who have to result to watching clips of sketches on Youtube, or even watching episodes on some not so reliable sites. I think NBC and British TV is really missing a trick here. Saturday Night Live has been on American TV's for 37 years. YES 37 YEARS, so it must be doing something right.
