To the creators, producers, the CW and everyone else involved with The Vampire Diaries and the probable Originals spin off,
With this petition we would like to request Klaroline as an established relationship on The Vampire Diaries and the probable spin off.
The pairing need not only be for the purpose of establishing a romantic relationship, but also because it is a great opportunity to showcase individual character developments. While we crave for a relationship of sorts for this pairing, we don’t wish for it to be rushed - or for the characters to lose their unique identity for the sake of it, as it is the peculiarity of their different characters that makes this couple special.
Klaroline can in some ways be compared to a ray of sunlight parting through the grey, dark clouds; illuminating them and scattering their darkness by its mere presence. In some ways, Caroline is the light to Klaus's darkness. They are yin and yang: a perfect balance.
We are willing to wait for this pairing, a year or even a century; as Klaus would for Caroline.
