Name: Dee (Denise) Woolcock on Mar 22, 2007Comments: I really think all cruel actions should be banned, not just Gingering, excessive use of whips, harsh chains, and any other cruel items. These people should be disqualified from owning or showing for a period of time till they realise it wont be tolerated, and if they do it a second time they should be disqualified for life, and the AHS should have a connection with other breeds with a common disqualification list, so the offenders cant just change breeds.Flag

All I can say is you people are sick, you put your poor horses through this pain just so you can receive a piece of shiny ribbon Really It makes me ashamed to be a part of the human race. Name: Tracie on Mar 23, 2007Comments: It's a disgrace that there should be the need for this petition. All breed societies need to take a long hard look at how far their breed 'standards' deviate from what is natural and healthy for the horse. To judge the quality of an animal on how high it carries its tail is ludicrous and for competitors to use 'gingering' in the belief that it gives them a competitive edge is nothing short of criminal.Flag
