Name: Denver Tucker on Nov 30, 2004Comments: I'm not opposed to things being expensive in this game. Some items warrant it because of how difficult they are to obtain. The reason I'm signing this petition is that I think it's ridiculous that a few people should monopolize the items from any given notorious monsters, to the point where no one else can beat them and they are solely capable of running up the price of these items, just so they can sell the resulting gil to a company like IGE which then sells the gil back to the people that couldn't obtain the item honestly because of the monopoly and are then forced to pay the outrageous, increased prices for the items that keep increasing simply because people will pay that money if they can buy the gil and they think that they need it. It not only kills the fun of the game by totally pulling all our aspirations further away from us into the land of what-I'll-never-have, but it degrades the quality of the gameplay itself when people that are hard working and have put 100+ days of hours into this game can't afford to get gear that an awful player whose friends will buy him the million gil for Ochiudo's Kotes can have without putting in any effort whatsoever. I hope that the anti-gilselling/buying things mentioned in the upcoming update are really effective against this. I would suggest monitoring money sent and received on all servers, especially in specific, commonly bought/sold amounts.State: NJCountry: USFlag

If Squarenix does not deal witht his issue there will me a dramatic fall on players upon the world of Vana'Diel in which case will result upon the collapse of the game it self.The game is hard enough without having to pay a lot of money for the equipment and accesories needed for a certain level now this threat that is overwelming the GAme of FFXI is making amtters worse by skyscrapping the prices on essential equipment needed for a certain level.State:Country:Flag
