The non profit arts groups of greater Gig Harbor are forming an Alliance to facilitate creation of a Visual and Performing Arts Center for the greater Gig Harbor/ Peninsula area to house Art and Craft exhibitions, classes & workshops, meeting space, Theatre Productions, Concerts, Performances, lessons, recitals, & rehearsals. Gig Harbor is an important home to visual and performing artists and needs to house the arts for the enjoyment of the community and visitors. Would you be in favor of a Center for the Visual and Performing Arts in Gig Harbor/Peninsula area?

www.peninsulaartleague.com is the largest of the visual arts groups involved. They run the Gig Harbor Summer Art Festival and give thousands of dollars in scholarships every year to graduating seniors from all 3 local high schools and to members pursuing additional art training.
