Comments: Thanks to the ban of GHB and GHB-precursors, and the NERVE of Orphan Medical to try to sell Xyrem for more than $220/bottle, I now have no medicine to treat my agoraphobia. I literally haven't left my home since the ban of GBL/1,4-butanediol substitutes, and I'm only 21 years old. After five dozen medications, doctors are baffled and Medicaid won't pay for Xyrem as agoraphobia isn't an approved use. I'd like to extend a very heartfelt "thank you" to the FDA and DEA for destroying my once fantastic, productive life and sentencing me to a permanently miserable existence... provided that I don't kill myself along the way, that is.
