HACEY's Health Initiative is working towards a goal of reaching 100,000 people by the end of this year who will commit to stopping the spread of HIV and ending discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS. To achieve this, we call on you to help us in stopping this dangerous virus. Take this pledge with us and spread the information not the virus.
HIV GETTING TO ZERO PLEDGE
I pledge to join hands with thousands of others to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS. I know that I can help stop the spread of HIV and stop discrimination against those affected by HIV/AIDS - infected and otherwise.
I recognize that I am responsible for my actions and will work towards bringing HIV occurrence down to Zero.
In making this pledge, I promise to:
- Raise awareness by telling my friends and family
- Prevent the spread of new infections through - Abstinence, Being faithful or correct use of condoms
- Stop discrimination against HIV infected and affected people
- Financially support or volunteer for a project that promotes education on HIV prevention and helps people who are positive.
