He is actually going to be on the broadcast and I honestly cannot believe it worked. My phone has been blowing up all day because this is just wild that the networks finally listened to all 289 of us. Now we just have to sit back and watch because he …
Earlier today ( 4/14/2012) Greg Cosell, Executive Producer of NFL Matchup and Senior Producer of NFL Films for 33 years, sent out this tweet from his account @gregcosell, "In response to question I won't be on a major network doing the draft. Would love to be. Feel free to sound the alarms. Power to the people!"
Anyone that has followed Mr. Cosell's work either via twitter, http://nflfilms.nfl.com, or the shows he helps produce, respect him as a wise football mind that tends to convey his complex evaluations in simple terms. He is an educator without an agenda.
Many in the NFL Draft community cling to slivers of information Mr. Cosell passes along daily via multiple outlets. However, networks that produce live coverage of the NFL Draft have yet to take advantage of his insight by putting him in front of the camera during the actual event.
Let's try to change that.
Please fill out this petition and spread the word to #GetCosellOnTV during Network Television Coverage of the NFL Draft from April 26-28th.
Seeing all this movement happen so fast is seriously wild because honestly I just started this on a whim after reading his tweet and now it feels like the whole draft community is actually behind this. I still cannot believe how many people reached out to say they agree that his football brain needs to be on screen instead of these other guys who just shout at each other.

The networks just want loud mouth pundits who yell at each other. Give us someone who actually watches the tape.
