    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: I think they are a disgrace and need to be sorted ASAP. I nearly got killed playing on them several times. And as for the floodlights PLEASE PLEASE sort this out. UL Tennis need it badly.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: The courts get flooded so often that training can't be consistent. Drainage is needed and some nets have holes in them so one can't tell whether it skimmed over or went through the night sometimes.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: The courts are not up to standard compared to the other sporting facilities in the university. I feel a whole new field of courts would be ideal. Extra courts are also needed.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: As per the petition, the courts are in attrocious condition at the moment and given that we have no indoor courts, the obvious solution is to improve the four outdoor courts..They can be improved by proper drainage and adequate resurfacing. In addition due to the dark winter conditions, the provision of floodlighting is an absolute must. If nothing is done, it may lead to players discontinuing their tennis due to frustration with the completely inadequate current facillites. In addition, injuries have occured are many more maybe imminent if tennis players have to endure the current playing conditions at the four outdoor courts. Furthermore, as per the origional article, UL Tennis club travelled to other universities and have not as yet been able to host Munster Cup or Intervarsities due to the aforementioned problem. If or when the situation improves with the courts, we could host these competitions, which would subsequently be an ideal method to advertise ul & their would be spin-off profit to local business eg. restaurants and shops in the University of Limerick and its surroundings. To conclude, there is a phenominal amount of talent among this years tennis members and it would be a complete injustice for that to go to waste due to the conditions of the current substandard tennis courts. So please, improve the conditions of the tennis courts as it is long overdue.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: Nearly every week my practices have been cancelled due to both the weather(causing the courts to become ridiculously slippy) and because of the courts not being in good condition! I have paid for both use of the courts and membership of U.L Tennis club and have only enjoyed one practice on courts! I don't think this is fair by any means, do something please!

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: Yes a little rain for let's say 30 minutes will leave court virtually unplayable which is dangerous for any users, club member or any person using facility. After it stops raining the courts are still dirty with patches of some form of mud/gooie substance which also makes court slippy. Astroturf is worn and can tell it is not maintained properly. What I would like done is it to be dried daily and to apply a better astroturf during winter break and by next year have an indoor facility

They need to be cleaned or install proper drainage as they are always flooded. it has become unsafe to use the courts as they a so flooded and dirty. the courts do not live up to UL's standard of fantastic sport facilitys.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: I don't like that when it is raining (and it does every day) we cannot play on the courts as it gets too slippery and the draining system doesn't remove all the water. It is very dangerous for the players and even puts me off to go to the hitting sessions because I know they probably would be cancelled because of bad court maintenance.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: They are basically a hazard, full of grime and water, which is probably more dangerous than ice. Playing on these courts was impossible, i personally couldn't really trust them, as i did slip and fall and injured myself before.

Any bit of rain and your playing in a mini swimming pool slipping and sliding all over the place. drainage is the worst ive ever seen. For a club who won the Munster Cup last year it shows promise and needs to be fixed.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: The tennis courts need to be fixed, we were promised to get more courts and better courts however that did not happen, and we were content with that, however we need these courts to be in good shape, we were fine with not getting new courts but you NEED to fix these ones!!!

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: The state of the tennis courts at UL is both ridiculous and unsafe. They are constantly soaked and muddy and make it very unsafe to have even a slightly competitive match without endangering all of the players. Beyond that, it gets dark here around 5 PM. Most players don't get out of class until 6 PM, and it rains so often that morning play is often not an option. We need floodlights and a vastly improved drainage system to make tennis safe for members of the club and UL community.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: The courts are dangerous, dirty and poorly drained. The all weather pitch directy next to the courts suffers none of these problems and is properly lit. Flood lighting is badly needed and even if 2 courts were installed with lights it would make a huge differance. UL prides its self on the image of having the best sporting facilities compared to any other University. 2 well lit and well maintained tennis courts is not too much to ask considering the quality of the other sporting facilities around the campus.

    Your comments on the current state of the Tennis Courts and what needs to be done??: Training was cancelled twice this week because the pitches were waterlogged. Last week people were slipping on the grounds aswell. This problem needs to be sorted ASAP. Floodlights are also needed.
