On January 13, 2013, after 5 years of preparing to waste taxpayer dollars, Todd Schnitt, who helmed the MJ Morning Show and was a competitor for ratings against Bubba Clem of The Bubba the Love Sponge Show, was now ready to see justice served. Jury selection in the case began in his defamation of character lawsuit against Bubba Clem, who made a remark about Todd Schnitt's wife. For nearly 3 weeks all of Tampa Bay was on pins and needles as this lawsuit played out to maximum dramatic affect on TV and radio airwaves around the country. Then after countless witnesses and even the two radio hosts taking the stand in their defense, the jury reached its verdict on January 30, 2013, exonerating Clem of any wrongdoing, thus delivering a loss to Todd Schnitt and putting an end to a trial that many deemed a farce. After nearly a full week of complaining that he was delivered a bad hand by a jury of his peers and that he was not emancipated, there is talk now that Todd Schnitt is again going to refile a motion to sue in civil court. Enough is enough. It is time for this whining and sniveling baby to be given the one thing EVERY listener of terrestrial radio deserves; to be fired from Clearchannel Radio and put out of a job. His afternoon drive show is in 15th place and his competition from 3 to 7 p.m. weekdays, The Cowhead Show on 102.5 FM The Bone, destroys his show every day in the ratings. If you want to see the end of Todd Schnitt's radio career on terrestrial radio, then please take a moment to sign this petition. It will then be printed off and mailed to Robert Pittman of Clearchannel Radio and ask that Todd Schnitt be fired from his position on AM radio, thus putting an end to this man's radio career once and for all. His flagrant misuse of his radio persona to wage a personal war against a competing radio host at the expense of the American tax payers is abhorrent and disgusting and should not be tolerated in any way, shape, or form. Todd Schnitt is a narcissist who has no place in broadcast radio anymore. Todd Schnitt is a relic from an era in radio when his brand of broadcasting was relevant. Let's show this man the door and ask that Clearchannel remove this irrelevant radio personality from their radio stations nationwide as soon as possible. A clear mandate must me set that suing someone for something which he himself also engaged in as the head of The MJ Radio Network, must not be tolerated.
