We the people of Siskiyou County, California, specifically Mt. Shasta, Weed, Dunsmuir and Yreka, are hereby petitioning Trader Joe's Market to open a store in the Mt. Shasta area. With a local population of 43,799 people to draw from we're sure your store would thrive. In addition, during the tourist season we play host to nearly a half million tourists and driver's and commuters on California I5 Freeway.

The only other options are a tiny locally owned supermarket and a Ray's Foods which is very expensive, as [we're] paying for remodels and new flooring.

We have a huge organic, food smart community up here and we spend a lot of time driving to Redding, Ca or Medford, Or to go to Trader Joe's!

We promise to shop at our new TJ's every week if not every day! Please Come to Mt. Shasta!
