Summer in the City is a Detroit-based non-profit that focuses on our 3 Ps- paint, plant, and play. We paint large murals within neighborhoods, businesses, and schools. We have a partnership with Keep Growing Detroit and have our own new community garden. We also tutor and provide summer programs for different inner-city schools and community centers. We run 4 days a week drawing high school volunteers from within and around the Detroit and the metro-Detroit area.
