I am writing this petition to get rid of my ELA teacher, Mrs.Femi Lewis. I do not think that she is properly capable of running a 9th grade ELA class.I have many students backing me up on this. Even some the brightest students who are on Honor Role are failing her class. Why you may ask. Well I ask myself that question everyday. When i check my Jupiter Grades and i see Below. My ELA teacher not give us a lot of work. You may think that that may be a good thing for us. But actually it isn't. If you miss an assignment for what ever the reason may be , your grade goes down immensely. If you have not completed an assignment or haven't handed it in because you were absent, instead of putting an excused or absent she puts missing and the impact on your grade is not to great. I dislike the fact that when ever a student comes up to her worried about their grades or ask a question about their grades she always says " give me some space Jesus" , or " I haven't graded it yet, relax". I will most certainly not relax it is my grades on the line. I also dislike the fact that My ELA teacher happens to swear a lot or mumble rude comment a lot about students under her breath. I know that every one curses or says rude things at least once in their life but for a teacher always telling people to watch their mouth is not that decent. I once even over heard her calling a student a " Fat Ass" right in front of me. As mad a student would get a teacher I don't think it is a right think to do to criticize the student about their weight. To me that is mean and unacceptable. Well, I believe that I have given sufficient evidence and information to prove that my ELA teacher is incapable to be in a learning environment.
