The city of Albuquerque, is facing increase traffic congestion as the city grows. Our roads are almost at capacity in many areas, and while this issue will continue to be a problem in the future, we can help solve the issue. Buses will not be effective on streets and interstates that are backed up in traffic. A rail line that connects important nodes (destinations) can by-pass the automobile traffic congestion. When it comes to cost, our city has many unique attributes which could make the cost of building a rail system very cost effective. Sign the petition saying you want increased focus on rail transit, and that you want our current Transit Tax dollars spent for rail transit in the city.
