September 25, 2015 will mark the 85th birthday of American story teller Shel Silverstein. Silverstein is known for his collection of iconic children's stories such as Where The Sidewalk Ends and The Giving Tree, and countless poems, selling over 20 million copies worldwide. This petition is a request to film extraordinaire Morgan Freeman to read the story, live, in his powerful, emotional voice that is loved by millions worldwide.
