Ms. Chaput is the permanent substitute for Mrs.Chen, but she is not doing her job well. She gets answers wrong, laughs at children when they do not understand a problem, does not fully teach a lesson, and also she has sworn multiple times. She has lied to her homeroom about many situations. When she first arrived to room 116 she promised the classes no homework over the weekends or homework that would take longer than 20 minutes when it takes most children on average about 45 minutes; she has given homework every week over the weekends and every day. This teacher, before lunch, expects her homeroom to be quiet before dismissing them. The classroom will be quiet and she will walk away. When she returns she causes the students to get riled up and everyone starts talking, then she yells saying that the class is too loud and makes them late for lunch every day. Ms. Chaput has ignored some of her students when they have asked questions. This is not acceptable for a teacher's behavior towards the students. Most children have complained to parents and faculty of the school. We think something should be done about this.
