Devon Thomas (one of the most skilled trumpet players at beaumont) was declined a position in the band, not because of her trumpet playing, but because she had a d+ in science. The catch is, the same day as her audition she checked ed-box to see what her grade in science was, and it was a 75 (a c.) Therefor, instead of spending extra time finishing the last TWO sentences of her lab write up, she took a test she missed in homeroom. The pity is, if she wouldn't have had a false ed box grade, she could have turned in her lab write up and been in ambassadores. Does this seem fair to you??? Devon is now heart broken, for music is her pasion, and she may now be forced to move to Madaline because she didn't get into ambassadores. If you want to suport her, please sign this petition.
