| 135 | Rebecca Arvin | George Clooney is an example of some of the great things Kentucky has to offer the world. Every state in America has things to be proud of and things to hide in the attic. People seem to get a lot of pleasure making redneck and hillbilly jokes, when Kentucky is mentioned. We Kentuckians can handle jokes.. as well as praise for all the wonderful things that have come out of our beautiful state. People from Kentucky are generally proud, compassionate and involved. George Clooney has a determination that has taken him a long way. It would be nice to have him come home to Kentucky for the Derby. I have never been to the the Derby either. It would be nice to be there this year and greet George when he comes home.. |
