We believe that George Zimmerman overreacted on the night he shot Trayvon Martin. He is now visiting the gun manufacturer that made the handgun he used and requesting to buy a shot gun. We think he should be remorseful for taking a life. As such we would like world leaders and the general public to request that George Zimmerman voluntarily surrenders his 2nd Amendment right to bear arms in honor of Trayvon Martin's tragedy. We do not believe George Zimmerman believes he has done anything wrong. He was raised a Catholic and as such we believe the Pope should personally request that he honor the mistake he has made. After all the facts he has now understood to be true, that Trayvon was unarmed, he was not committing a crime nor was he intending to. George needs to realize that he is at least partially culpable in this incident. Had it not been for George's erroneous initial assumptions, Trayvon would still be alive. We would like every American regardless of their stance on gun rights to acknowledge that George Zimmerman did not use his best judgement that night. As such George should surrender his 2nd Amendment right as a gesture of gun will to humanity. He does not need to accept any guilt, or acknowledge any wrong doing, or even disagreement with his or others belief in the 2nd Amendment or gun rights debate. He would surrender his rights to carry a gun as a humanitarian gesture of good will towards his fellow world citizens.
