This petition has been created in order to encourage the Australian Rugby Union into signing George Smith up for the rugby union test series between Australia and the British and Irish Lions. George, a 110 test veteran, is in superb form playing for the Brumbies and would bring much needed experience and leadership to the Australian rugby team (also known as the Wallabies).

The wallabies need someone with his level of grit. Honestly he is putting to shame a lot of the younger blokes on the park lately.
