| 2503 | Bailey Reiber | There is no excuse to close educational institutions such as the geology museum on the UW campus, which allows students from all over Wyoming to see unique artifacts. The university will lose an amazing museum if the geology museum remains closed and this cut will reflect very poorly on the University of Wyoming |

| 2506 | Jonathan Allen | I volunteered at the museum briefly while I attended UW as a visiting undergraduate. Now, more than 10 years later, as an assistant professor of biology I am dismayed to hear that the museum is closing its doors. My brief experience with Dr. Breithaupt, the museum and UW was critical in helping me flourish as a scientist. This does not sound like the university that inspired me to reach higher. |
| 2507 | Gaythia Weis | This museum is an amazing asset for UW. It is very educational and a pleasure to visit. Visiting the museum has been a great excuse for pulling off I-80 and spending some time in Laramie. I hope that the businesses in town understand that this is their loss also and work to see that the museum is reopened. |

| 2511 | Dave Munsick | While the budgetary cuts are neccessary in these times of "belt tightening", I would think twice before banning programs that are educational in nature. While ignorance may be bliss, "in education there is hope". |

| 2514 | Anonymous | The Geology Museum was one of the truly special and unique aspects of the University of Wyoming. The museum started in 1887 in the Old Main building on campus, and is one of the oldest museums in the country.
The amount of positive public relations work that the curator did for the University was priceless. It is a shame that they fired him a year and a half before he could retire. Was his retirement considered part of the state budget cuts, too? |
| 2515 | Heather Stanton | I really hope that they reconsider this action - this museum is a highlight of the University of Wyoming campus. |

| 2518 | Jo Aelfwine | My grandkids are coming out from California and had specifically listed the museum as something they wanted to see. We will all be disappointed by this irrational decision. |
