| 503 | Mary Johnson | Dear President-Elect Obama,
This is a bottom-up approach that will help families more immediately than would reliance on child-care payments. Please take it into consideration.
Many thanks, |

| 536 | Connie Dyer | I have been concerned since the campaign when President-elect Obama began talking about big job creation efforts but referred exclusively to fields where men traditionally work, construction, public infrastructure projects, green energy (primarily engineering, construction, electrical/hydraulics, etc maintenance.) . I appreciate that funding these projects WILL create jobs, but in this environment, NOT promoting jobs for women will be an even greater hardship for women than in the 30s, because so many women today must depend on their own ability to work and earn to support their children/elderly parents. |

| 540 | Candice V Morgan | I completely agree with this letter. I, too, applaud our new president-elect and am cautiously optimistic about his progressive, relevant and overwhelmingly hopeful presidency.
Please, Mr. President Obama, do not leave those who elected you behind. We care, and we hope against hope that you do too. We will hold you to your word. May your presidency be the best yet!
Love and congratulations,
Candice |
