As a long time fan of General Hospital it is with great saddness that I say this, but GH SUCKS!! It\'s all about the mob. If it\'s not related in some way shape or form to the mob, then it\'s of no consiquence. Why else would Real Andrew\'s jump ship He must have seen the perverbial writing on the walls. \"If it\'s not a crime it\'s not good\". Same goes for Brad Maule. What we want is for there to be some kind of sanity restored to GH. We want to stunned again. We want to be SHOCKED. We WANT to be excited about WATCHING OUR SHOW!!! Instead of day in and day out of the same four or five people, lets see more of the cast. Will all do respect and no offence towards Maurice, Tamara, Steve or Alicia, but GH is a cast of over thirty talented actors and some have been on for YEARS and YEARS before any of the afore mention quad was even KNOWN in daytime. Whether it\'s new writers or just new ideas we would like to see GH\'s history honored and NOT re-written to glorify Sonny and his \"posse\". We\'d like to see crimes that are committed have a down side. Instead of getting off scott-free why not show the consiquences of hanging AJ from a meat locker with only a cart of vodka for him-- a recovering alcoholic-- to be with until he signed away his rights to his son. Jason laid Faith down on the floor that was covered by a plastic sheet and was prepared to kill her exicution style... the consiqences... NONE. Sonny\'s a mobster but is it EVER brought up that being a carreer criminal does NOT make you a \"good man\" that\'s entitled to loads of family, a happy marriage, and loads of friends NO!! Sonny breaks bar ware, his stepson does the same when he\'s upset, is his wife upset or worried Does she think that it would be better for her to distance her son away from such acts of violance NOOO! She hugs Sonny, tells him he\'s a \"good father\" and they all go back home. Somehow I just can\'t accept that a carreer criminal that doesn\'t WANT to get out of \"the life\" is better for a boy then a recovering alcoholic with acceptance issues. We want our GH back. This, by no means is a call for the firing of any actor or killing off of any character. We\'d just like to see a little reality injected into GH. You know, stop the endless glorification of mobsters and the crimes they commit. Stop portraying assassines as \"heart throbs\". Stop portraying recovering alcoholics as the devil incarnate. And start showing that Cops have higher IQ\'s than .0001. Sincerely, GH fans everywhere
