However I don't want to be in the same situation as the owners of the pre-08 machines when it comes time to upgrade the video card. Video cards are the most short lived items in a computer - they are rarely current for more than a few months.

I myself own several IPods, an IPhone, a MacBook and the 2006 Mac Pro. Sadly if this doesn't get resolved I will be not buying anymore Apple products. It's taking too long for this issue to resolved. |

This is a very expensive computer that was purchased for upgradability. I am very disappointed in Apple for this. There is not an equivalent card for my MAC. |
