Cedar Fair I thought would save Geauga Lake. But they are continuing the destruction of Geauga Lake. To me they have NO RIGHT TO HAVE Geauga Lake name on the waterpark. The waterpark is not Geauga Lake. This year my God-daughter who love trains would love Beaverland Mine ride. This year she is 4 years old and would be tall enough to go on it. But now she can't go on it. This year we are going outside of Ohio to go to an amusement park. I will never set foot in the stupid waterpark. $23.95 is VERY OVERCHARGING price for what is in the waterpark. They have nothing that is worth that. They have no reason what so ever to charge $23.95 for that price. The waterpark is worth $10.00 and not a penny more. I knew from day one Geauga Lake was doomed in the hands of greedy CF. Have to protect that crown jewel of the fleet in Sandusky at any cost? Throw away Geauga Lake and murder history for a few more heads in CP? What a deplorable, sickening and greedy course of actions this has been. Hearing all the excuses is beyond old, it's laughable rhetoric. I would surely HOPE, with your power over the auctioning of the Big Dipper, that you MAKE SURE THIS HISTORIC COASTER IS SAVED. Scraping up an OUNCE of decency to ensure it's survival is your obligation. Along with MANY others I will no longer be attending any Cedar Fair owned properties. I don't want to, I truely love Cedar Point, but there has to be a line drawn somewhere, sometime.

| 4567 | chris jones | I think this a major mistake by Cedar Fair, I had hoped they were going to convert the park into one that was more family oriented. When they removed the bigger rides they lost some visitors,but not everyone likes the big rides,little kids and older people don't want to wait 1-2 hours to ride something and can't handle riding those things anyway. They should reopen the park so families can enjoy short waits for rides and introduce their kids to the fun of roller coasters,so they will then enjoy the rides at Kings Island and Cedar Point. |

| 4575 | Kristine Eash | For the first time I decided to try out Wildwater Kingdom. Climbing up the stairs to the slides I could view what used to be "Geauga Lake Amusement Park". The whole time i was there, i couldnt stop thinking about how much fun i used to have at the amusement park. It was nothing but ghostly rubble, and the remains of what used to be one of my favorite places. I still dont understand why Cedar Fair closed it down and quite honestly, it was very sad. Unless the water park expands, i wont be going back. Its a waste of gas and money. They could at least moved the water attractions from the old park to the new park. |
