John Reuter | What were you guys thinking? How can you let even Six Flags run the park better then you?
Nathaniel Rosen | Geauga Lake for the past few years was fun, then last year they started taking out rides and now altogether they are closing it. They have every right to close it because its always empty when i'm there so they have to make a smart business and close the park. However they shouldn't completely get rid of the rides and should just move them to other various cedar fair owned parks or sell them to another company.
Jacob Hogan | Cedar Fair is so sleazy, the only reason the closed GL was so CP would have less competition.
John Katz |
Michael Whitehead | I hope this park can be saved. I am not interested in just a water park. After 119 years, it deserves to remain a ride park in some manner...

James Joseph | this is very sad
Bryan | At least give guests the op to say goodbye!~

Mike | Cedar Fair's inability to be up front about the Geauga Lake situation is pathetic and offensive.

John Myers | The way Cedar Fair handled this is worse than a used car salesman! Geauga Lake is part of Ohio's history and is a very big part of this part of Ohio. It is shameful what has been done. Who the @%&@% wants/needs another stupid WATER park?!?!?!?! Bring Geauga Lake back to what it was before Six Flags ruined it!
brad ritchie | geauga lake was my first park as a child, hoped it would be for my children too.

Harry Traver | Dick Kinzel should be fired for his mismanagement of this park as well as the Paramount aquisition which has ruined Cedarfair as a company. He is an incompetent CEO who also happens to be stupid .
Mary Kukich | Although we understand business and its bottom line, you have broken our hearts. We have visited and enjoyed many Cedar Fair properties, but Geauga Lake was our home. I feel you have veered from your business mission statement of "honesty, integrity and fairness" in not announcing sooner the closing of a much-loved, traditional family park. You might have given loyal fans and season pass holders like us a final weekend of memories. Visiting on Oktoberfest, as we did, and not anticipating closure, is not enough.

Bridget Clark | Cedar Point, you should have given the residents the respect and let them know this was the last season. After all they have supported the park for over 100yrs. You would have made the bucks you've been longing for if people would have known this was the last season. Your commercialized high dollars is what killed the family tradition that Geauga Lake was known for. You owed that to us. Geauga Lake has been in our family for over 35yrs and you can't change our memories. I know now what kind of company you are and can honeslty say, I will never visit Cedar Point. Gasper Locco never wanted this for our park. We have one of the oldest carosels in the world, the Big Dipper is over 90 yrs old, and the ballroom has decades of history. You've let Cleveland down. You actually remind me of when Art Modell tried to take the Browns away.
Linda Carruth | Let's get to the point. Shame on you, decimating our park. And if you HAD to close it, it should have been announced before the park closed for the season. That was a lousy stinking way to handle this. Cedar Fair has not the least bit of respect or regard for its guests, which is I why I no longer visit Cedar Point.

| 134 | Chris Carlyle | Dick Kinzel and Peter Crage should be investigated for illegal insider trading. Its bad enough that they ran Geauga Lake into the ground; that they didn't give anyone a chance to say goodbye...
But the fact that they still try to make a quick buck off of it is disgusting! |

Laura Brown | I only had the opportunity to go to Geauga Lake once. I loved it because of all the rides that were so different from the other parks in Ohio. Please save the rides!!!

Steven M Sims | You didn't even give the place a chance.
Aiden Shay | WHY?! So Many Fond Memories!
Eric Montage | Bring it back! Bring it back NOW! Its going to fail this 'new and exciting way' more than you let it before. for 120 years it was successful, then you shot it!
Patrick Coffey |
Bill Spehn | Heck, I even want my park back too. What can I do?
Kris | NO! SAVE IT! Cedar Fair parks are to wonderful. I wouldnt wanna see this go. Its to good
| 149 | Chris Malanga | You bought GL to kill it... because no one should overshadow the crowded, overpriced CP.
And you didn't even let us say goodbye! You are a cruel and heartless company, and I will never spend my hard-earned money with you again. |
Jason Hanson | Please do the right thing and keep the tradition alive as it is. This park has too much history and memories to be thrown out so irresponsibly.
