Name: Ted on Jun 8, 2007Comments: Squeakies and jammers have been around for years and they ALWAYS get caught. The sooner the person/people interfering with GB3OK are made to account for their actions the better. YES, I do take it personally because it is MY hobby.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 8, 2007Comments: I am afraid that the bully boy tactics have reard there ugly head.Like in the old days of SL which ended up in violence. It is obviosley a service engineer as there are short gaps between the jamming.Ofcom must no who it is, everyone else does. this jamming will bring amateur radio into disrepute the world overFlag

Name: G Coleman on Jun 9, 2007Comments: An extremely useful repeater with excellent coverage and a group of polite, informed and interesting users..... and, unfortunately, one or perhaps two disruptive and boring jammers. It is my hope that the authorities deal with the jammer / jammers in a manner which dissuades others from this type of antisocial activity.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 9, 2007Comments: As a sysop myself and a past user of GB3OK, the misuse of repeaters affects everyone. Rather than putting the emphasis on the sysop, the abuser of a repeater should be held accountable for contravention of licence regulations. I hope more and more people support this petition and others where there is blatant abuse of a repeater.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 9, 2007Comments: Since becoming licensed in August of last year, I have benefited greatly from using the Orpington repeater (GB3OK), especially the Echolink facility, which has enabled me to talk to radio amateurs all over the world at a time in the sunspot cycle when long distance communication by HF is by no means guaranteed. I hope that you will see fit to take urgent action in respect of the recent and ongoing abuse in order that the repeater may continue to operate for many years to come.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 9, 2007Comments: GB3OK is a very good and well run repeater, where I enjoy talking to many other amatuers who also enjoy the hobby, and respect the privilege of holding a licence that they have worked hard for. Through Echolink, we are able to chat with others from all over the world. It is such a pity that it is being spoilt by a very small minority.Flag
