Comments: I totally agree, if you have a low income you are gas dependent whether you like it or not. I advocate public transportation, but I do realize this is not an option for all people.

Comments: Gas prices are killing our tourist trade in Florida. Seniors are on fixed incomes. We have to decide between food and medicine..now we can't afford to shop or go to the doctor.

Comments: Something needs to be done NOW!!! Price of Fuel is out of control and today its $3.45 cents a gallon , what will it be when the summer months hit $4+ The problem that I see is that If I could sale gas for $3.45 a gallon then anything less is considered a loss. Do you think the big oil companies are going to go back to the days of $2.00 a gallon.....OH NOOO thats $1.45 a gallon loss per gallon X Millions at least in ther eyes. This is what I see , Fuel is up, which is driving cost of food up, drives cost of necessities up that are transported by Truckers. God Bless these guys they are paying over $4.00 a gallon and most these rigs get about 4-5 miles a gallon. OUCH!! Bottom line The GAP of the haves and have nots is on its way to being the Haves ONLY!!. What is minum wage or barely above @40 hours The cashier, The cook at the local diner, the waiter at your table, the car wash , the cross guard, sanitation worker, the hard working people that make up this country ...Get ready folks because they cant survive at this rate ....LEts talk about crime ...Take a snap shot where you are now...Because crime has and will rise 10 fold in every city throughout this country. People have to EAT to live..When they cannot afford to get to work or pay there bills then the worse happens. We have the tecnology to convert. Hybrids, E85, H20, Solar, Electric >>>LEts do it but make it affordable and AVAILABLE... "I bought an E85 Vehicle by chance only problem nearest station is 4 hours a way LOL)

Comments: Please Please give us some relief, it is impossible to understand and accept high profits for oil companies and staggering gas prices, that continue to increase. I implore you to lower prices.

Comments: I can't understand why I have to sign a petition to get congress to be aware of what is going on in the USA. The people we elected are out of touch with Americans. They make to much money to understand real Americans.

Comments: it's the gov'ts responsibility to stop maliciouos price gouging for a necessary commodity. please do not let this be a repeat of the electricity crisis in the late 90s. you now have middle class families trying to figure out how to pay for gas and other basic necessities.

Comments: i think these gas prices are out of hand and that the government is stealing from us and you wonder why you are having send relief checks to all the tax payers and why there are some many foreclosures and why people can pay there bills everytime you go to gas station feels like you have to take a loan out just to get some gas!! this is riduclous and there is no reason for these rising cost.

Comments: Taking advantage of the american people is nothing short of criminal. It does not speak very well of any corporation, to profit on the misery of the working class citizen. This is, unfortunately, a neccessary commodity for the american worker. No one should every have to choose between filling the car tank, or filling their familes stomachs. Congress providing empty promises about taking care of the poor and middle class, is not only a disgrace, but is a prime example of not doing their job.....the right thing.
