Comments: Yes I would like to petition the gas prices. I am a mystery shopper and it's my job to go from store to store all over the valley. With the gas prices the way they are, I can't even pay my bills. I am in debt. With mystery shopping, I was trying to survive. I am a single mom and I can't afford the prices that are out there. I can't even get to work.

Comments: I doubt that this would make any difference. The contracts for shops are usually signed a year at a time. If companies bargain for low paying shops and shoppers agree to take $5 shops, they are stuck doing them. I won't take them.

Comments: I have cancelled 2 jobs because the cost of gas dictates that the mileage is too far. I'm sure others will do the same.

Comments: Everything we touch is going to be impacted by this sudden surge in gas prices. Every employee, except Congress people who get their gas for free, is taking a major reduction of pay. Maybe more phone shops need to be offered.

Comments: I will probably stop mystery shopping and merchandising if the gas price does not go back down, or the fees don't go up. I was doing this to help my son not have to work while in college. I canceled 2 out of town jobs today as I would spend more for the trip than I would make.

Comments: With gas prices going up to well over 3.00, the fees just barely cover the cost of getting there....somtimes not even that since I live in a rural area and usually have to travel at least 30 miles for a shop.
