On behalf of a triumvirate formed by your chemistry classes, we urge you to promptly postpone our Chapter 14 test in order to facilitate a more thorough and comprehensive examination of the subject matter, both in an independent and in a lecture-hall environment. We have hobnobbed with many of our peers in order to discuss the subject matter, and nearly all of them have admitted that they have no more understanding of the material than a dog has of Latrodectus mactans, a rather venomous species of arachnid. In addition, when attempting to complete the problems assigned to us, we had a rather difficult time, possibly due to your unclear teaching and our own inanity and indolence. Our personal belief is that you are obliged to impart to us the exigent information. In truth, a large number of people with which we have discussed the relevant material have had a rather thorny time of advancing their own understanding of the recent assignments you've given to us, and this is leading to a rather pressing problem for everyone.
