Comments: Yes, I support the bill to allow chickens within the town limits, it has help me to grow into a good Methodist who has a raised a fine family we are paying taxes and asking for nothing but to live our life the way God has asked us to do. All the reasons I could give are right, the most important one is because this is America the land of the FREE if I want to raise a few chickens for myself and family then why not.

Comments: I was researching getting 2 hens for educational and fresh egg purposes and found they were not allowed according to Garner Ordinances. As a resident who lives within Garner city limits on half an acre I am appalled that this is so. I can understand limits for smaller houses and I can understand disallowing larger domestic animals but chickens really Please change the ruling.
