In a effort to let Garmin know all users from around the world are important, I\'m starting this petition. They must understand that when they offer other languages on ANY of their devices, they must put some effort in quality control and then (only then) be proud of their products. It\'s nice to offer a high tech device but it is even nicer to be proud of it in many languages. Being a native French speaker, I was expecting a better French translation from my 1st Garmin product, a Vista HCx bought last July. Since I\'m a nice person, I first told them and sent them a document ** Please download that document from http://www.filepanda.com/file/wxhbbij8eiqv/ ** It IS the reason for this petition! The document have screen shots showing lack of quality translation from English to French. They never told me clearly it would be taken into consideration, they only told me my document was forwarded to the proper department. After 3 firmware to fix this and that, no correction was made in any of the French menus. Just like my original document sent to Garmin, this petition is in English, even if I\'m a French native speaker asking for better French, simply because I believe that English would be better received by Garmin staff.
