| 908 | Anonymous | Couldn't love grey's more, however, the spin off seemed to be just another version of the same show. Same drama, different location. Grey's works because of its authenticity and it being the only show on tv like it. If there was a spin off it would be considered "just another grey's show" and would never get the respect that a different, more original idea that Shonda could come up with would get. "Frasier" wasn't the Frasier character hanging out in another bar in a different city. It was an entirely different show that stood on its own that that's what made it successful. If ABC wants Shonda to create another show because she's so awesome, she should do one independently of Grey's and keep Grey's as the amazing show it is. Don't create a show because a character is popular. Create it because of a strong need for it and in this case, the need is not there. |

| 948 | Chelsea Kelligher | I miss Addison. I feel like her character had so much more developing to do, and they just dropped her off in L.A. and that was the end of her on Grey's. I will admit...I really do enjoy watching Private Practice. But, not as much as I like watching Grey's Anatomy. WITH Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh). Addison was my favorite character on Grey's, and although I ultimately wanted Meredith and Derek together, it was interesting to watch Addison and Derek try to make their marriage work, and sometimes it did. And watching their marriage soon fall apart...it was all just something I never really...cared about, as much as I did their relationship. I also loved Mark Sloan and Addison together and I wish that they could have had a chance (this whole Haun/Sloan thing is nauseating...yuck!). I also was very enthused that Alex and Addison had a little fling. Their entire relationship was something I thoroughly enjoyed! I wish that Grey's writers or whomever would have let Alex be that guy who barbeques and plays catch, with Addison of course. I am just very sad and am missing Addison's presence on Grey's. She was and will always be my favorite character on Grey's. I miss the OB/GYN storylines, because some of them were very exciting and interesting. And, although Dr. Webber is sometimes entertaining, I had hoped that he would have stepped down from being Chief and choose Addison to assume the role. I just wish something would be done so Kate Walsh can come back to Grey's Anatomy. It really isn't the same without her. |
